Chengxin Xu, PhD

Chengxin Xu’s research interests are in the fields of public and nonprofit management. In particular, his research explores the unique role of nonprofit organizations in social service provision by identifying the boundaries and relationships between the nonprofit, private, and public sectors, and how “nonprofitness” diffuses, develops, and is affected by complex organizational and institutional contexts, including social enterprises and cross-sectional collaborations for service provision.
