The Public Performance Measurement and Reporting Network (PPMRN) is a web-based community that connects citizens, government officials, public and nonprofit managers, and academics who are dedicated to measuring, reporting, and improving public sector and nonprofit performance. Free membership provides access to a comprehensive database of resources including articles, reports, performance measures, books, manuals, websites, and training opportunities.
The Teaching Performance section of the website assists those instructing courses on performance with syllabi, relevant case studies, and selected certificate programs. The Resources section offers over 7,500 articles, books, case studies, reports, manuals/guides and listed websites that are relevant to the field. In addition, registered users are provided free access via JSTOR to 30 years of the academic journal, Public Performance & Management Review. The network also sponsors an annual conference held in locations throughout the U.S.
