  Overview of Courses

The School of Public Affairs and Administration at the Newark Campus of Rutgers University has developed a new undergraduate major in Public Service. It will be an interdisciplinary degree designed to bring students to a deeper understanding of their roles as public servants, broadly defined: employees of government and not-for-profits, elected officials, members of boards and communities at the local level, volunteers, philanthropists, etc., in the context of civic engagement.

Register online now for the first two courses: Public Service as a Calling (20:827:201:01:16556 T/Thursday 10:00am-11:20am) and The Urban Experience in the United States (20:827:202:01:16557 M/Thursday 1:00pm-2:20pm). Go here for a listing of all course descriptions in this Major.
