Municipal Shared Services Project

In response to the demand for research and best practices, the National Center for Public Performance [NCPP] based in the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University-Newark, in partnership with Leadership Newark, Inc. has designed an Internet-based resource to the advance the knowledge and use of shared public resources among urban communities in the State of New Jersey.

During the 2007-2008 Program Year, the Leadership Newark Project Team has implemented its expertise in strategic, operational planning and outreach to local and state municipalities in Essex County in order to bring this resource to fruition.
