Transatlantic Dialogues (TAD)

The Transatlantic Dialogue (TAD) is an annual conference jointly organized by European and American scholars of public management for the purposes of strengthening international cooperation for advancing teaching, research and practice in the field. The conference brings together leading experts on public management with goals of defining public management problems, considering solutions to these problems and generating insight regarding worldwide management challenges on the horizon. The effort is the result of collaboration between the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the European Group of Public Administration (EGPA). The School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers-Newark serves as the American Secretariat for the TAD and hosted the 7th TAD in June 2011 at the Rutgers University-Newark campus.
