Danbee Lee's research interests include public management, organizational theory and behavior, and research methodology, with a specific focus on human resource management. Her research revolves around two research themes: The first considers organizational reputation as a fundamental resource bridging public organizations and external environments, and the way it can be strategically managed; the second examines its importance in public organizations’ effectiveness regarding attracting and retaining employees.
