SPAA in collaboration with the New Jersey Institute of Social Justice will look at the history of slavery in New Jersey (NJ), which began in the early 17th century and ended with the passage of 13th Amendment. Expert speakers will provide a detailed look at slavery in NJ, including Newark and other parts of Northern NJ.
