Join us for the first Homecoming at Rutgers–Newark in over a decade!

All registrants can enjoy a day of on-campus activities and lunch from food trucks from across the state.

Play lawn games with friends, dance it out to a live DJ, make memories at the roving photobooth, and participate in exciting activities with fellow alumni. There will be something for every member of the family at this year’s celebration!

Registration is required to attend this event. The deadline to register is Friday, October 17, 2025.

Admission to Homecoming 2025 is $15 for guests ages 21 and over, and free for students and guests under 21. Your admission includes: 

• Lunch from New Jersey Food Trucks: Every guest receives a food voucher that allows you to get a delicious lunch from one of our amazing food truck vendors from 12-3 PM
• Drinks in the Biergarten: (only for guests 21+) Enjoy refreshing drinks with your fellow Rutgers community members in our exclusive R Alumni Biergarten. Each guest that is 21 or older will receive 2 drink tickets to be redeemed in the Biergarten open from 12-3 PM
• A Walking Tour of Campus: Take a student ambassador-led tour of campus. The tour is approximately 30 minutes long and will take place completely on foot. To participate in the walking tour, you must reserve your spot during registration. 
• Tickets to the RU–N Men’s Soccer Game: Cheer on the Scarlet Raiders at 3:30 PM as they take on the NJCU Gothic Knights in a soccer match you won’t want to miss. Tickets to the game are included with your admission, but must be reserved in advance during registration.
