Paul Robeson Campus Center, 350 Dr M.L.K. Jr. Blvd, Newark, NJ 07102

Women's participation in government and politics began when they won the right to vote in 1920, but a significant number of women did not hold political offices until after the women's movement of the 1960s and 1970s. This panel will look at the struggle women have undergone as they moved from suffrage to representation.
