Dr. Lindsey McDougle, CNLD Director, to Edit New Volume in Edward Elgar’s Respected Research Handbooks Series
CNLD NEWS

The Rutgers Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Development (CNLD) proudly announces that its director, Dr. Lindsey M. McDougle, associate professor at Rutgers SPAA, has signed a publishing contract with Edward Elgar to edit a forthcoming volume in its respected Research Handbooks series.
The book, Handbook of Nonprofits and Social Inequality: Research, Practice, and Power, will convene a diverse group of scholars to explore how nonprofits can simultaneously challenge and perpetuate inequality. The chapters will address themes such as equity in leadership, justice-oriented philanthropy, nonprofit labor practices, and global critiques of aid and development.
Edward Elgar’s Research Handbooks are internationally recognized for their high-quality, peer-reviewed contributions across the social sciences. This new volume will add to that tradition by explicitly centering the intersection of nonprofits and inequality, a critical issue for both scholarship and practice.
The handbook is slated for publication within the next two years.
