Rutgers SPAA Student Eboni Bugg Receives 2024 Rutgers African-American Alumni Alliance Rites of Passage Scholarship

Rutgers SPAA 2024 graduate Eboni Bugg (BA'24) received the 2024 Rutgers African-American Alumni Alliance (RAAA) Rites of Passage Scholarship at an awards ceremony on May 11. The award supports academic excellence by providing a scholarship to a graduating senior in pursuit of a graduate degree immediately following their graduation. Bugg is pursuing the accelerated BA/MPA program at Rutgers SPAA.

"As we gather for the Rites of Passage ceremony, we're reminded of the strength found in unity, resilience, and achievement within our community. This celebration offers a moment to reflect on our individual journeys, celebrate our triumphs, and find support among peers as we step into new chapters," said Bugg. "I'm deeply grateful for the honor of this award, which fuels one of my commitments to pursuing graduate studies debt-free, fostering personal growth, and academic success."
