Informal Research Talk with Dr. Aaron Deslatte (2/1/24)

On Thursday, Feb. 1, SPAA welcomed Dr. Aaron Deslatte, associate professor, O'Neil School of Public Affairs and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, for an informal research talk on "Building the Epistemic Community: Capacity, Convergence, and Local Climate Resilience."

Dr. Deslatte directs the Metropolitan Governance and Management Transitions (MGMT) Laboratory in the O'Neil School. His research focusses on the roles that public managers play in enhancing economic, environmental, and social sustainability at the local and metropolitan levels, with the goal of building cumulative knowledge that can help local governments advance sustainable economic and community development.
