Hung-Yi Hsu's research interests lie in the broad area of public management, accountability, and transparency issues. His research has been published in International Review of Administrative Sciences, International Public Management Journal, and Review of Public Personnel Administration, among other outlets. His dissertation is titled "Government information in the eyes of the public: Three essays on transparency and perceived performance," and his committee chair is Gregg Van Ryzin.
