Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) has again been recognized as one of the world’s leading research institutions in public administration, ranking #3 in the nation and #12 in the world for 2025 in the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) compiled by the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. The rankings consider research output, research influence, research quality, international collaboration, and international academic awards. They measure the performance of universities in relevant subjects, providing a score based on indicators such as the number of influential and top journal publications and citations, and international collaborations and awards. More information on the methodology can be found on the ShanghaiRanking website.
