Rutgers SPAA received a world rank of #7, and placed #3 in the United States, out of nearly 200 institutions assessed world-wide in the subject of public administration.
Conducted annually by the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, an independent organization, the GRAS assesses over 5,000 universities in academic subjects across natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences, and social sciences. The rankings consider research output, research influence, research quality, international collaboration, and international academic awards. They measure the performance of universities in relevant subjects, providing a score based on indicators such as the number of influential and top journal publications and citations, and international collaborations and awards. More information on the methodology can be found on the ShanghaiRanking website.
