Fangda Ding's research looks at how representation and diversity in the public workforce can contribute to the public service. His interest areas encompass public management, social equity, institutional theory, public personnel management, environment policy, and computational methods. His works have been published at Public Administration Review, Public Administration, Public Integrity, Administrative Theory & Praxis, and others.
