Dr. Cleopatra Charles Presents Recent Book and Research at ISTR 2024 Conference

At the 2024 International Society for Third-Sector Research (ISTR) Conference at the University of Antwerp in Belgium, Dr. Cleopatra Charles participated in a "Meet the Author" event where she had the opportunity to talk with conference participants about her recent book, Financial Leadership for the Arts: Sustainable Strategies for Creative Organizations, co-authored with Margaret Sloan. The book prepares leaders in the arts to make the best possible decisions for the financial sustainability of their organizations.

In addition, she participated in a research presentation titled "Financial leadership strategies to keep the arts alive: Adapting to turbulent times and developing resilience," discussing financial leadership strategies that can sustain and nurture the arts, ensuring their survival in turbulent times such as economic recessions, political uncertainties, and global pandemics.
