Oatile Ramsay is a doctoral student in the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University–Newark. His research interests include power, inequality, participatory governance, nonprofit management, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. His current research explores the role of civil society in advocating for disenfranchised groups in the policy development and implementation process, with a primary focus on Botswana. During his studies, he aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities for nonprofit organizations in the region in collaboration with other scholars and leaders.
