Yong-Chan Rhee's research interests include public management, criminal justice, racial disparities, the relationship between leadership and street-level bureaucrats, social inequality, and disinformation and information management. He is the recipient of SPAA's Outstanding PhD Student Award (2024); NASPAA's Best Dissertation Award (2024); NASPAA's Pi Alpha Alpha Doctoral Manuscript Award (2023); and COMPA's Second Prize of "Best Paper Award" (2023 and 2022).
