PSRPanel – Methodology

PSRPanel is an online panel of public service professionals who volunteer to sign up over the Internet to participate in web-based surveys and studies. Panelists are recruited primarily from announcements posted on professional websites or print media, email notices to various professional organizations, and from universities with public affairs programs.

It is important to point out that the panel is not a random sample drawn from all public and nonprofit sector employees. Survey results are, however, weighted by gender, race, age, and geography to more closely reflect the demographic profile of the relevant study population.
